The office supplies that we ordered were not in the box when the delivery man dropped them off this morning. I called the office supply store to ask them what was going on and the very nice calm lady on the phone said that they had some sort of glitch in their system that allowed fifteen hundred empty boxes go out to their customers.

I was not happy about not having my office supplies order come in but am now thinking that I am really glad that I do not work for that office supply store. They must be really all very stressed about the situation and the way that the woman on the phone took my call was amazing. I am sure that I was not her first phone call of the day and I would certainly not be the last.

Before hanging up with her, I did find out that they had already corrected everything and that our office supplies order had been reshipped with everything double checked and it would be here by the morning. They had sent it through express mail and paid for all fifteen hundred of the orders to get to their destinations overnight.
