News Day In and Day Out
05/24/2010
I spend 12 hours at the office because that is my life. My work is very important to me and being a young professional, I made it a mission of mine to be a Junior Partner by the time I’m 30. Thus, living in the building is making me full. I don’t regret it, in fact, I love it! I am an extrovert; don’t think that a relationship with the opposite sex is imminent for me at the moment but surely tapping into that once in a while. My focus really is about my profession.
I leave home at 6am and wrap up my day at 6pm. When I pass by the news stand, papers are 15 hours old – I feel like I am so left behind. I don’t buy them anymore. But it does not mean that I am not a news-inclined person. Together with my cappuccino and daily morning bagel, I read the latest news from this Current Events News website that I so love. It provides me my daily dose of modern news with insights from the bible. It is one of a kind actually; I have never encountered a website so directed with biblical prophecies. It starts my day and ends it as well. At least, even if I am confined in the 4 corners of my office, I still know what is happening outside.
